        WEDDING MAKEUP

Choosing a Makeup Artist for your wedding day can be a daunting thing. You may have concerns about looking too made up or worry that the makeup may not last for your whole wedding day. Possibly you have yet to decide on how you want to look for your wedding and might need some guidance on what style or look would suit you the best.

Many brides have had negative experiences in the past with having their makeup done which can cause some anxiety now that they are planning their own wedding and other brides may have never had makeup professionally applied so really don't know what to expect.

There is no need to feel the stress because I can help you with all of these concerns. I have been working on brides for over 20 years. There is nothing I haven't come across before and I draw on my years of experience to help each and everyone of my clients look their absolute best on their own wedding day.

I cater for all age groups and styles. So rest assured everyone in your bridal party from junior bridesmaids to great grandmothers will look and feel amazing. Whatever look you desire I will deliver it to you on your big day.

The Trial

The first thing you need to do is contact me to secure your wedding date. Once that is done we can arrange a day to have your Bridal trial, this is usually done about three months before the wedding and it takes about 90 minutes. It is a vital part of the wedding preparation as it allows you time to sit down with me and go through some ideas of what type of makeup style you might like.

I ask my brides to have 2 or even 3 images of makeup looks they like saved to their phone for their trial appointment. This is something I strongly encourage as a visual aid goes a long way in describing the exact style of makeup you have in mind.

The trial is a brilliant way of putting you at ease. It allows you to relax in the knowledge that on your wedding morning you will be wearing the makeup that you have always wanted for your big day. It ensures the only thing you will have to do is relax in my makeup chair and soak up your bridal morning atmosphere and perhaps have a sip of bubbly.

Once you are happy with your trial I will then give you plenty of skincare tips for the lead up to your big day to ensure beautiful glowing radiant skin to compliment beautiful makeup.

When at all possible try to arrange your trial makeup for early in the day. This will allow you to test out the staying power of the products for yourself and also let you see the makeup in daytime lighting.

In my makeup kit I have only the top makeup brands and a few pro makeup products also. My products of preference tend to be MAC, Estee Lauder, Inglot, and Charlotte Tilbury along with a few pro brands . Any products i use on the day of your trial are available to purchase at your local department store , so you can buy these in advance for lipstick touch ups throughout the day.

My clients tell me the makeup lasts so well they have seen it last till the following day !. So makeup longevity is definitely not going to be an issue for your once I have done your wedding makeup.

Once your bridal trial is done we will then finalise your Wedding day details and you can rest assured that the one thing you wont have to worry about is your makeup on your wedding morning.
